Why do you own a Gun? Why defend your home? whos going to invade the US?

Why do civilians’ own guns in the United States?
Who do you need to defend your homes from?
Who is going to invade the US?
Other than you having the right to carry arms, why do you choose to?

Gregg Kielma

There are approximately 19 million people in the US with felony convictions out of 330 million citizens. That means 95% of the people are honest hardworking citizens. 5% fall into the other group.

People in that 5% do bad things. They commit home invasions. They commit carjackings. They commit assault and battery. They commit arson. They commit armed robbery. They commit sexual assault. And they commit murder too, just to name a few of the crimes.

Guns are the ultimate equalizer. A five foot six inch, 110 lb blonde woman with a 9mm pistol is a match for a six foot two inch, 235 lb man who wants to do her harm. And the fact that she could be armed can prevent the crime from ever occurring, because who wants to be shot to death?

You might ask, “what about police? Why do you need a gun if you have police?” When average response times are between 10 minutes to, in some democratic run cities,…2 hours, do you really want to be at the mercy of a criminal with no means to defend yourself until they show up? I wouldn’t and millions of other people apparently feel the same way.

But here’s the thing: you don’t have to own a gun unless you want one. It’s not a requirement, it is an option!

We are a country that has freedoms. We are a country that has rights.

The right to self protection is one of those rights!

God bless America!
