How dangerous is working in a gun store?

How dangerous is working in a gun store?

Gregg Kielma

On the show 1,000 ways to die, there's a clip about one stupid fellow. On his first day out of jail, he pulls a ladies stocking over his face and intends to rob a jewelry store at gunpoint. Because he couldn't see very well through the stocking, he walked into the adjacent door on accident, into a gun store unbeknownst to him. He yells “This is a robbery!” while brandishing a pistol. He is immediately shot 21 times by 2 store clerks and 3 customers (one of which was a 5′ tall 71-year-old lady) and was killed immediately.

So back to the question, is a gun store safe for who? The clerks? I'd say they're capable of handling an armed robbery. For a customer? I'd say they're just as capable. If you're trying to rob the place? Kiss your butt goodbye. Statistically speaking, you have a better chance at robbing a bank and getting away with it.
