What's your favorite Glock and Why? Here is my choice.

I’ve handled a lot of pistols over the years, and I’ve come to appreciate the ones that actually earn their place in your daily life. For me, the Glock 19 Gen3 has always been the standard. It’s the gun I grew up on, the one that taught me what “reliable” really means. The size is perfect, the balance is natural, and it runs clean no matter what you put it through. When I carry it, I don’t have to think. It’s part of my lifestyle and part of my responsibility. My family, my friends, my students nobody gets hurt on my watch, and the Glock19 Gen3, I have carries for the better part of 35 years, has proven itself over and over again as the pistol I trust to back that promise.

However, I’ll tell you this: Glock did something special with the 43X MOS. For a slim carry gun, it hits way harder than people expect. It disappears under a T‑shirt, draws fast, and once you mount an Aimpoint on top, it becomes a serious everyday‑carry setup. Light, quick, and easy to run especially in tight spaces or situations where you need a clean sight picture right now. It’s modern capability without losing Glock’s simplicity, and that’s why it is becoming one of my favorites.

And if you’re asking what my personal favorite Glock of all time is, I lean toward the Glock 19 platform as well — specifically the Gen5. It’s the evolution of everything Glock got right with the Gen3 but refined. Better trigger, better barrel, smoother recoil impulse, and the kind of consistency you want when you’re responsible for more than just yourself. It’s the gun I’d pick if I could only have one, because it does everything well without trying to be anything it’s not.

So between your Glock 19 Gen3, your 43X MOS with the Aimpoint, and my own preference for the 19 Gen5, the theme stays the same: carry what works, train with it, and make sure you’re ready when life demands you step up. That’s the lifestyle. That’s the responsibility. And that’s why these Glocks stand out.
