If the police bang on my door and tell me they have a warrant for my arrest but tell me they will show me when I get to the station, what's my first action, after arrest? Is this legal?

There is one great answer by a former law enforcement officer, but he lacks one thing.
The VERY FIRST thing you should do, is shut your mouth. The only question you should have, are what are the charges and I want a lawyer. You answer ZERO questions.
The police in the case of arresting you, are NOT your friends. They want you to A. box yourself in, if anything you say is inaccurate, they see that as a lie, even if unintended by forgetting something. B. get you to contradict yourself, and everything you say will be used against you.
So you have the absolute right to remain silent, do so. If they got the wrong person, they will figure that out, but they are trying to pin it on you, so don't help them do so.
