Friends and clients, I had a nice note on my desk this morning from Sandy and Linda I shared earlier.

I’ve had the chance to read the kind words you shared with me, and I want to take a moment to speak directly from the heart. Leading this team is one of the greatest privileges I’ve had, and hearing your appreciation means more than you know. I don’t take your support lightly. In fact, it reminds me why I show up every day determined to give you, my best.

What you wrote wasn’t just polite encouragement it reflected the strength, professionalism, and character that define this small group. You are the reason our work has impact. You are the reason our standards stay high. And you are the reason I push myself to be worthy of the trust you place in me. You keep me grounded and always want to make it better for you.

I want each of you to know this: your words mattered. They landed. They fueled me. And they reinforced something I already believed that we are building something special together. Not because of one person, but because of the collective effort, discipline, and pride you bring to the job.

Thank you for your support. Thank you for your honesty. And thank you for being the kind of team any leader would be proud to stand beside. I’m grateful for both of you, and Wanda my wife, I’m committed to continuing to earn the respect you’ve shown me.
