Bacon Wrapped Little Smokies

Let’s Get STARTED!

You will need some little smokie sausages. How much you need or would like to make is up to you. And some slices of bacon!! Cut the bacon in thirds and wrap each piece of bacon around the smokies and secure it with a toothpick. Sprinkle them with brown sugar and let them sit in the refrigerator overnight or for at least several hours! Spread them out on a baking sheet or baking dish and baste them with any brown sugar that is in the bottom of the storage container. Cook them at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Flip them and cook for another 5-10 minutes.  Mix the barbecue sauce, Dijon mustard, and honey together and serve with the smokies.

You can also put them on the grill. I use oak chip in my charcoal grill to give them a wonderful smoked taste. Turn them frequently and cook until desired.
